Privacy Policy for Universe Guardian

Effective date: July 30, 2026
Last updated: July 30, 2026

Universe Guardian is developed and published by DMG™ (Divine Memory Games) (“DMG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Universe Guardian on Android or iOS (the “Game”).

1. Summary

2. Information handled by the Game

A. Information stored locally on your device

The Game stores information needed to provide gameplay and remember your choices, including:

This local gameplay information is not submitted directly to DMG by the current Game code. It normally remains on your device until you clear the Game’s data or uninstall it. It may also be included in device backups controlled by Android, iOS, Google, Apple, or your device settings.

The Game may create local highlight or clip-metadata files. It does not automatically upload those files or post them to social networks.

B. Information you send to us

If you contact us for support, feedback, or a privacy request, we may receive your email address, name or nickname, message, and any screenshots, device details, or other information you choose to include. Please do not send sensitive personal information.

C. Android advertising data

The Android version displays an AdMob banner and may offer an optional rewarded ad in exchange for an in-game revive. Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect or receive:

Google and its advertising partners may use this information to provide, measure, limit, personalize, and protect advertising; perform analytics; and prevent fraud and abuse. Rewarded ads are optional, but the banner ad and ad SDK may connect to Google when the Android version starts.

D. Android analytics data

The Android version includes Google Analytics for Firebase. Depending on the SDK configuration, Google Analytics may automatically process an app-instance ID, Android advertising ID, masked IP address and associated coarse location, app lifecycle events, sessions, screen or app interactions, device information, and diagnostic information. The Game does not create user accounts or send a DMG account identifier to Firebase.

The Game also contains a separate DMG gameplay-telemetry component. In the current code this component is disabled by default, is consent-gated, and writes only to a local file; it does not transmit that event file to a DMG server.

E. Current iOS version

The current iOS build stores the gameplay data described in Section 2(A) locally and uses Apple system services for audio and haptic feedback. It does not currently include AdMob, Firebase Analytics, or another third-party advertising or analytics SDK. It does not access IDFA and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.

If a future iOS release introduces advertising, analytics, cloud saves, account features, or tracking, we will update this Policy and the App Store privacy disclosures before that functionality is released. Where Apple requires permission for tracking or access to IDFA, the Game will request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework.

3. Device permissions and system features

On Android, the Game requests internet and network-state access to load ads and support connected SDK services, and vibration access for haptic effects. It can discover and use the device’s text-to-speech service to read Commander Lyra’s mission messages. The Game supplies mission text to the selected system text-to-speech engine; it does not record your voice or use the microphone.

On iOS, the current Game uses audio, game-controller, and haptic system frameworks. It does not contain usage-description requests for the camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or location.

The Android advertising and analytics SDKs may add advertising-identifier permissions through Android’s manifest-merging process.

4. How information is used

Information is used to:

Where required by law, processing for personalized advertising or analytics is based on consent. Other processing may be necessary to provide the Game or based on legitimate interests such as maintaining security, measuring performance, preventing fraud, and improving the Game.

5. When information is shared

We may share or allow processing of information:

We do not sell personal information for money. Interest-based advertising may be treated as “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a “sale” under certain privacy laws even when no money is exchanged directly for your information. You can use the controls described below or contact us about applicable rights.

6. Advertising and privacy choices

7. Data retention

Local progress, settings, resume data, and local telemetry remain until they are overwritten, cleared, or removed with the Game, subject to platform backups. Support emails and privacy-request records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business and legal records, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

Google, Apple, and other third parties retain information according to their own settings, contracts, and privacy policies. DMG does not control their independent retention periods.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. Google states that information collected by its Mobile Ads and Firebase Analytics SDKs is encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. Children’s privacy

The Game is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information or create an account. If you believe a child has provided personal information to DMG, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to review and delete it.

Parents or guardians should also review the advertising, family, and privacy controls available through Google Play, Android, the App Store, and iOS. If the Game is later offered in a store category or configuration directed to children, DMG will update its advertising configuration and disclosures as required.

10. International data transfers

Google, Apple, and other providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, applicable safeguards may include contractual protections or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection; withdraw consent; or appeal a privacy decision. You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority.

Because the Game does not use DMG accounts and most gameplay information stays only on your device, DMG may not be able to identify or retrieve local data. For information held by Google or Apple, use the privacy tools or contact options provided by those companies. We may need to verify a request before responding, and legal exceptions may apply.

To submit a request, email divinememorygames@gmail.com with the subject “Universe Guardian Privacy Request.” You may also contact admin@stepcounter.com.

12. Third-party privacy information

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies:

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when the Game, its SDKs, legal requirements, or data practices change. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide any additional notice required by law. Please review the current Policy when a new version of the Game is released.
